The World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan
13th Apr – 13th Oct 2025

Tellart were the lead guest experience designer for the Philippine Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka in Japan. The pavilion building was designed by the Filipino architect Carlo Calma Consultancy and the central concept was how ‘nature, culture and community can be woven together for a better future’.

“At the centre of the Philippine Pavilion, a large panoramic screen invites guests to move with the rhythm of the islands.

Stepping into the interactive zone, your reflections transform into bursts of digital nature such as a bouquet of flowers, a swirl of leaves, or a school of tropical fish.

Music evolves with movement to create an expressive, collaborative dance with the Philippine ecosystem, featuring a blend of traditional Filipino instruments recorded with live musicians in Manila.” - tellart on instagram

I acted as Lead Creative Technologist for the central interactive experience, developing the realtime visuals and designing & implementing a tracking solution suitable for multiple people over a large volume that covered the whole 12 metre-wide curved display. The visuals were integrated with a dynamic spatial audio composition to create a truly immersive experience.

I worked closely with the team at Tellart to prototpe and iterate different digital reflections / avatars that visitors embody through state-of-the-art body tracking.
