Science Museum / Atmosphere Gallery
This was my first major project with AllofUs. We were asked to develop the centrepiece for the Atmosphere Gallery; an overarching experience that would tie all of the exhibits together.
"The atmosphere gallery is a fresh and exciting way to make sense of the climate – the science of how it works, what it’s doing now and what it might do next."
The solution included huge, projection mapped real-time visuals on the gallery floor & surfaces and 5 multiplayer, multitouch games. My main involvement was development of the multitouch experiences. They were developed using Adobe Air, leveraging its support for native multitouch drivers and application update management, and used a range of libraries including box2d for physics simulation. The games were networked with each other and with the projections using OSC.
